Liquid Immiscibility and Thermodynamic Assessment of the Al2O3–TiO2–SiO2 System

Abstract Phase equilibria in the TiO 2 –SiO system have been studied experimentally using DTA and SEM/EDX. The thermodynamic parameters for assessed considering new experimental data of present work from literature. Moreover, miscibility liquid Al O 3 –TiO has at 2013 K air shrinkage gap 3.8 mol% demonstrated. obtained literature as well databases binary , systems used to derive description CALPHAD approach.
